Submission

Submission

Submissions have to be in English and are expected to report on new research that makes a substantial technical or economical contribution to the field. In particular, submitted research must be unpublished and not under review in any other conference or journals (submissions that violate this requirement will be regarded as self-plagiarism).

Submissions to the Smarter Europe conference are handled via the Springer-Submission System. Please register at the Springer-Submission System (Online Conference Service) and submit your abstract and paper there.

The Smarter Europe 2018 conference proceedings will be published online by Springer. Conference presentations will be separately published by E-world energy & water for conference participants.

Abstract Submission / Presentation / Scientific Contributions

Please note that both full papers and abstracts can be submitted to present your work. To decide for presentations and the conference schedule, please send an abstract first, while considering the dates shown on this site. The submission of a full paper allows you to be selected for the SmartER Europe conference proceeding publication of Springer.

Abstract Submission

Submitted abstracts should not exceed 6000 characters (spaces included)in the given style template below.

Full Paper Submission

Submitted papers should fulfil the Springer style template below. The regular page limit is 15 pages. This should provide you with some additional space that can be seen as a chance to improve the quality of your contribution, which is always very welcome. If this is still not enough, please contact us.

Submissions will be peer-reviewed, which gives you the chance to improve the quality of your contribution under the advice of our program committee members.
